TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Essence - Review & Find the meaning of this korean phrase "chok chok"

TONYMOLY is a Korean beauty and skincare brand. In the name of this product there is a korean phrase "chok chok" which means "well moist luminous skin".

Well, I don't know much about this brand before their launch on Nykaa & bought it after seeing this on deepesha profile, one of my friends on Instagram. But I've already familiar with this korean phrase "chok chok" some where on the internet, and true i believed why they kept the "chok chok" after using.

This Essence contains 80% fermented green tea extract called "chungtaejeon" they say it is the world's first naturally fermented green tea. which gives intense moisturized and hydration deep into the skin.

Full Ingredients list:

COSDNA (you can verify the ingredients from here)

This is a beautiful packaging which comes in a green plastic bottle and pump type dispenser and a cap over it. which makes it easy to carry around.

I can smell their high concentrated green tea present in this essence.

consistency is just like cream to gel, which absorbs quickly into skin. I can see the instant moisture after patting it into my skin but must follow up with serum/moisturizer. it works as an essence perfectly.

Though I can't much of their ingredients list, It worked beautifully on my skin. 80% of green tea extract is good amount of anti-oxidants to the skin and I didn't mind much of their 20% other ingredients.

Contains lemon seed oil and rose wood oil for anti-bacterial and soothing properties. As it contains essential oils, I don't recommend for sensitive skin people. I works beautifully for all seasons.

My take on "TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Essence" is:
it instantly gives you that "moist & luminous finish on the skin" as soon as I applied. This product can relieve the skin's thirst but not alone one should follow up moisturizer.

I may not repurchase as I'm eyeing so many essences in the market. and recommend it everyone except sensitive skin people.

Availability: Nykaa & Amazon India.

Bit pricey, and it contains dimethicone & essential oils which you can keep in mind, I'm not bothered of it anyway because it is one of the best product that worked perfect on my skin without any irritation and it also has some cooling effect I should say.
