Hey Guys, you already know how much I loveeee Kama Ayurveda as a brand, If you miss reading my Kama ayurveda rose water review : Read here

I've been using different brands of henna powders like Anoos, Bioorganic etc. Since past 10 years. I love to apply hair mask and I make sure my hair is always in a healthy state. We all love to isn't it?
Before trying this kama Ayurveda hair colour kit , I was using Homemade henna powder(My mom made) from henna leaves, thinking it was excellent so far, but the problem is Henna leaves won't be available always and it gives the kind of Burgundy colour (And yes, I do have GREY HAIR) but i like natural black colour.

So, I thought to try this Henna + Indigo combination of organic Kama Ayurveda hair colour. As I heard it gives an illusion of natural black colour to hair.
This kit includes Henna powder(100g), Indigo powder (100g), 2 pairs of hand gloves and 2 shower caps.

Price: 1275/- (you can buy Henna or Indigo separately, but this kit save you some bucks 😉)

Quantity: 100g+100g

Brand claims about the Product:

An excellent, all-natural hair conditioning and colouring kit that adds body, richness and shine. Kama Ayurveda’s Powders are 100 % Natural, certified by Lacon India Pvt. Ltd. We understand that different skin and hair types react differently to a natural product. We recommend that you conduct a skin patch or hair strand safety test before all-over application.

Now, Here's the Big deal: How to use

This is How I used:

Step 1: I washed my hair with my regular shampoo and make sure my scalp & hair is clean. We always have to apply any hair mask on the clean hair only. I did this and on Monday Evening.

Step 2: Tuesday Morning, I just instantly mixed up re Kama Ayurveda Henna with plain water, (required amount depending on hair-length) as preferable consistency and had gloves on and applied all over my hair by taking small partitions. I did this all by myself proudly🙈 tied my hair and left for 2 hours.

Washed my hair with plain water, and Air-dried. Now, Ready for Indigo

Step 3: Tuesday Evening, Again instantly mixed up Kama Ayurveda Indigo with plain water,(required amount depending on hair-length) as preferable consistency and applied as like henna and left my hair this time for 1 hour.

Washed my hair with shampoo and Air-dried. Here's to witness the magic now oh-god all the natural black hair organically💗

But I think the colour protectant shampoo helps more.

My Experience:

After Henna Wash: Orangish Burgundy colour is observed.
After Indigo Wash: Natural Black colour is observed. ( But Alone, Indigo don't produce black hair      colour, Along with henna do)

My hair is now voluminous, silky soft hair. oh-so nourished and kissed my hair after a long time. HaHa

Seriously, no more grey hair, no more red hair.

See the texture of both😍

Another 5 ways to apply:

1. On the clean scalp, apply the 1:1 ratio of Henna + Indigo and shampoo your hair, If you have no much time in hand.
2. You can apply the Henna and Indigo separately( If you want)
3. Mix the powder in coffee decoction in separate bowls, leave the paste overnight and apply the Henna and Indigo as like I did.
4. You can add curd, and other herbal powders and customise as per your paste.
5. You can add curd/ egg white for the instant mix
But I still suggest you do to exactly what I did, and then try different ways. Try your best way and follow.

Twice a month is best to use, but at least once in a month is necessary to maintain the hair.

Please don't go for chemical-dyes, they only give you allergies in the long-run and damages hair strands like a slow poison.

And it lasts me for a few more times, and I have shoulder-length hair.

It's completely 100% Organic. Please go for it and you don't disappoint.
Not only it covers grey hairs but also conditions the hair like just magic. I bought from Nykaa.
